Welcome to PetPal Inc ("PetPal", "we", "our", or "us"). By downloading the PetPal mobile application or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
PetPal is an online marketplace that connects pet owners ("Owners") with independent pet care providers ("Sitters"). PetPal does not itself provide pet care services; it provides the technology platform that facilitates connections and transactions between Owners and Sitters.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use PetPal. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to enter into this agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@petpalinc.in if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
All bookings are confirmed only upon successful payment processing through our payment partner, Razorpay. Prices displayed include the PetPal platform fee. PetPal reserves the right to modify pricing or fees at any time with reasonable notice.
Sitters are independent service providers, not employees of PetPal. PetPal performs background checks but does not guarantee the suitability of any sitter. Owners are encouraged to review sitter profiles, ratings, and reviews before booking.
Owners must provide accurate information about their pets including vaccination status, health conditions, and behavioural traits. Owners assume liability for any injury or damage caused by their pets to the sitter or the sitter's property.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PetPal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or the services provided by sitters.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email.

We understand that plans change. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are issued for bookings made on PetPal.
If you cancel a confirmed booking:
If a sitter cancels your confirmed booking for any reason, you will receive a full refund regardless of timing. PetPal will also assist you in finding an alternative sitter where possible.
Cancellations must be made through the PetPal app (go to My Bookings → Select Booking → Cancel). Cancellations cannot be processed via email or phone.
Approved refunds are processed via Razorpay to the original payment method (UPI, card, or net banking). Refunds typically appear within:

If you are unable to hand over your pet at the agreed time without prior cancellation, it will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be issued.
